“Comfortable cottage with everything you need for a short stay. The bed was cosy with nice pillows and bed linen, the sofa was comfortable and free view tv was welcome in the evening. There was a very welcome pint of milk in the fridge. As we were visiting relatives we didn’t eat in the cottage at all, but the kitchen seemed well-equipped. “Positives: fabulous setting, wonderful views, large garden gives plenty of outside space, hot tub fab, the cabin is comfortable & mostly has everything you’d need. Negatives: boiler not far from bed so kept me awake all night (I’m a light sleeper). No mirror anywhere. Blinds are useless so don’t expect a dark room when sleeping. Lots of dog poo in the garden, one corner was particularly bad & I called dog poo corner. Plates, bowls & mugs are all tiny!”

“Lovely log cabin, very clean , excellent central heating with radiators in every room. Good sized fenced in garden for our dog to run around in. Veranda with table and chairs where you can sit back and watch countryside and wonderful sunsets. The cabin is up a steep gravel track so would not be suitable for cars with low ground clearance. The owner was very nice.”
