“This house was perfect for our group of 6 friends for a weekend of cycling and walking in the local area. The accommodation had everything we needed to enjoy our stay whilst not being too pricey. Lovely to arrive to the woodturner already lit - this made the house very welcoming. ”

“We had such a lovely stay! The space was incredibly cosy, beautifully decorated, and had everything we needed for a comfortable visit. Some interesting, historic features too! Mike and Dawn were warm, welcoming, and went out of their way to make sure we felt at home. "The view is absolutely beautiful. The overall hygiene was ok, with a small bit of stain on the sheet remaining. However, there was one used instant coffee packaging left, probably due to carelessness of cleaning staff. The worst issue was that the shower was completely not working but the hotel gave us this room knowing that there was a electrical failure for the shower. Although the staff was really polite when we raised this issue in the morning, it does not erase the disappointment at night. The toilet also did not work properly, the flush was extremely weak. There was no way of contacting the hotel at night to sort out the shower issue and the reception runs from 3pm to 6pm instead of 8pm as stated here. Would recommend if those management issues were fixed."
