“Nice little hut, very small kitchen space (1 person only), nice sized shower with toilet and wash basin, nice comfortable bed. highlight for me was the hot tub perfect to relax in and in peace and quiet surround by trees and a little river at the bottom of the garden. Convienence store about 3 miles away. Host Connor was a helpful guy and sorted out the hot tub issue we had”

“We opted for the Viking Lodge as a stop between North and South Wales, and it was delightful. The lodge comes with all the required amenities, fridge, oven, stove, kettle and top notch WiFi. This is something that teenagers seem particularly fond of, and ours were no different. The lodge is set just off a farmhouse, amidst scenic rolling hills in central Wales. The Viking lodge comes with a lovely sauna, which is really easy to operate and delightful to be in. There’s also an inside table……

“Absolutely amazing place. Loved the shepherd's hut, peaceful and private. Everything you needed was in there and really comfortable. Ginnie and Andrew couldn't do enough for you. Close enough to everything to explore. The pool was awesome (and the hot tub). Had a few games of foot golf which was so much fun. Would absolutely not hesitate to stay there again. Even had a lush digital welcome sign for me and my husband. Really was a super awesome place with the best owners Thanks both xxx”

“An immaculate cottage in a fabulous location. Hosts John and Steph are so welcoming and John is like an encyclopedia of local knowledge, from best chippies, restaurants to best beaches and local markets. Our 15 yr old dog absolutely loved it and it's freedom. We will definitely be going back again.”

“Accommodation excellent, hosts amazing. Not much in the village, pub closed during week, nearest shop 10 minute drive.Expected the garden to be at back of property, which it wasn't.. It was shared with owners who live next door, which meant you had to leave the property to access it.Note for people with dogs.Owners ask that pets are not left in the property unattended. Might be an issue for some people if they want to pop to pub for a meal or drink without pets.Overall we had a lovely time……

“We've stayed in a lot of dog friendly cottages, but I think this was the best we've had. Lovely cottage, with everything you need. Great location too. Parking was easy and very friendly neighbours too.Be prepared for narrow lanes, but that goes for most of rural Wales :)”
