Rose Ridge - 8BR/5.5BA Luxury Log Cabin on 25 Acres - Walk to Old Man's Cave!

Rose Ridge was built at the end of 2019 and is located on 25 wooded acres within walking distance of Old Man's Cave. The cabin has 8 bedrooms and 5 1/2 bathrooms. The well equipped kitchen has a table for everyone to eat together and prepare meals. There are also tables on the deck to enjoy a meal or visit with friends and family in a peaceful wooded setting. Rose Ridge features 2 wood burning fireplaces. One is inside surrounded by cozy furniture and a 60" tv. The other fireplace is outside on the deck. There is plenty of space to gather together or enjoy your privacy. There are many activities for all ages including tvs with Directv and dvd players, a variety of dvds, a pool table, board games, fire pit, and a corn hole game. We try to make it cozy so you'll feel like home. We also own Vrbo 1883965, 1938288, 2702910, 2963411 & 3060533 (Property certificate #00358) The base rate includes 12 guests and each additional person is $25/night.

Great spot to hike Old Man's Cave and get away for a weekend

Property was great, closeness to the trails was awesome and the weekend was a lot of fun. The property has tons of space, fast wi fi, and we got really lucky with the weather so we got to enjoy the outdoor hang out spots around the cabin

Great weekend get away

I belong to a non-profit called Art Clash we do performance art wrestling. One weekend a year we like to get away together and just relax instead of performing against each other. The place qas nice, clean, and large eniugh to have multiple groups of people hanging out. Some of the beds werent very comfortable but that is about the only negative about the place. Fireplace and hot tub were enjoyed by all!

Perfect fit

Rose Ridge was a perfect fit for our family. The home was very clean and comfortably furnished. The location is peaceful while being convenient to many Hocking Hills activities and attractions.

All of my friends and I had an amazing stay and weekend getaway. The weather wasn’t the best, but we had an amazing time spending time tiger and shooting pole. I’d recommend this place to anyone 10/10 times.

Retreat

We have hosted our women’s retreat for our church at this property for two years now and it is an incredible home. It had everything you need and the location is great. The back porch is so peaceful for coffee in the mornings!

Great Host and Amazing Cabin

We had a blast during our stay in this cabin, it met all of our needs. The water pressure tends to drop significantly when multiple showers/sinks were going at the same time, but that seems to be pretty standard in this area. The checkout process/requests were very reasonable, and Julie was incredibly helpful. Would absolutely stay here again!

Thanksgiving at the Cabin

Pictures of the cabin and property do not do it justice. Property is peaceful and serene. Cabin is beautiful inside and out as well as spacious. We had 3 families with 14 people and had room to spare. Entrance is on main floor with stairs on the left leading up to the top floor, which overlooks the main living room. There are four bedrooms with queen/full beds on the top floor, 2 bedrooms on each side of the house with full bathroom between the bedrooms. The main floor had 3 large couches facing the fire place with a tv mounted above. There was 2 long tables placed end to end that easily accommodated all 14 of us for Thanksgiving dinner. Kitchen was nice sized with an island. On the other side of the living room was an open area with a small table that we set up as a gaming table. The main floor also has a deck outback with a couple of grills, outdoor furniture and a fireplace. Downstairs is where its at! There are 2 bedrooms with queen/full bed with a full bathroom next to the bedrooms. There is a 3rd bedroom downstairs with 4 bunk beds. There is a couch, loveseat, large screen TV and a refrigerator on one end of the room and a pool table on the other end. Laundry room has 2 washers and 2 dryers which really came in handy with our 3 families. There is hot tub outside as well as a firepit. We had zero issues as everything was in working order. My only recommendation is to bring your own pillows as there are only two pillows per bed. If you plan on using the fireplace, bring your own firewood. There is a Walmart about 20 mins away if you need any supplies. Definitely check out the hiking trails around Old Man Cave, it's a must see! I would definitely come back here again!

The Cabin was very large for a nice sized family gathering. The kitchen was well stocked. Bathrooms could all use some soap. Shampoos and Conditioner not supplied, but would be a nice touch for the pricing. Enjoyed our stay.

Perfect for family!

This cabin perfectly accommodated our large group of couples and young families. The multiple dining areas was great and the kids loved the pac man machine. The 5 minute drive to Hocking Hills State Park was great, especially during busy season. We will definitely be booking again!

Winter Cabin Weekend

The cabin was perfect for our weekend getaway! It was clean and spacious and slept everyone in our group easily, we look forward to coming back again in the summer! Julie was very communicative about all things weather-related due to the significant amount of snow they received around the time of our trip, which was much appreciated.

Hocking Hills Family Trip

The cabin is great however a couple of items that we feel need to be addressed: The seating on the upstairs deck desperately need new cushions. This is a great area to gather and socialize however the poor seat cushions do not allow anyone to sit for very long. Also possibly consider adding a tv over the outdoor fireplace on the upper level. Lawn care needs to get taken care of on a weekday or non- rental day. We were VERY disappointed that the lawn care company showed up on our only Sunday and were there for over an hour during lunch time!. If this were to happen again we WILL look for a new location. Also, the dumpster is a bit too far away if the rental agreement is going to mandate that the renters are responsible for taking the trash to the dumpster. Fortunately for us we had family members with a truck and was able to drive it down.

Great Stay at Rose Ridge Lodge

Beautiful nature setting, clean and comfortable, great place for our gathering. We really enjoyed the spacious back deck with the outdoor fireplace, we spent a lot of time out there. Would recommend this lodge for anyone needing to house a large group.

We absolutely loved this property. We were a party of 11 ages 58-90, celebrating our mother’s 90th birthday. Such a great space to spread out and enjoy whatever struck your fancy. LOTS of breathing space, well stocked, and just plain perfect on every level. Would stay again in a flash.
