"Our stay at the Novotel Hotel in Ghent, the Netherlands, 15-17 Oct 2025 was excellent. With the exception of a couple of people, overall, the hotel's staff was friendly and hospitable. The photos matched the room -- clean and roomy. The mirror in the bathroom was a foot higher above my head (5 foot 2 inches) and the lighting was not bright enough. A light in the entrance way was broken, and not fixed during our 2 day stay, even though a cleaning staff member knew and promised to have it fixed. When requested our daily supply of coffee packages, both the front desk (condescending) and the cleaning staff were not readily responsive. BTB Fresno, CA, USA"

"Clean room, spacious bathroom. The room itself was not the largest, but perfectly fine for us. There is a bar upstairs where you can purchase a drink, or you can make your own hot drink using the coffee machine/tea facilities in the upstairs area near reception. The place seemed to be very conscious of the environment, and even rewarded you for being so (e.g. skipping the clean). Would definitely stay here again."

"Interesting, imaginative conversion and very successful space. Really friendly staff and nice rooms. Be aware, and I didnt see it on site, that restaurant and bar does not open on Sundays or Mondays. Staff went out of their way to recommend alternatives, some in locality which were good but pretty busy."

"Very comfortable, modern hotel offering all facilities that you would expect. The room was a good size and had a comfortable bed, good wifi, large TV, tea-making facilities and an excellent bathroom. Its location, near the central station and within walking distance of the main shopping district and plenty of restaurants, was perfect."

"I had just stayed in a larger, well-known chain hotel for a conference and was wildly disappointed by that stay - so discovering the NH Collection Antwerp was a joy; everything was excellent, from the welcome to the facilities and the level of detail. It was exactly what I was missing from the bigger chain, which had previously felt very high-end - NH Collection did a much better job all around."

"Perfect location for central Ghent. The hotel was very clean and staff were friendly and helpful. Lots of great eating and site seeing options within easy walking distance as well as public transportation close by to get to the train station to visit other cities as well. Bed was bigger than expected which was nice. "
