Very handy to the tube, which made getting around quite easy. It had breakfast included, the selection was great. If you use facecloths bring your own as they are not supplied. Overall the stay was pleasant.

We only stayed for one night as a pass through but loved the location for easy access to transit and the staff was very helpful and accommodating. We'd absolutely consider staying again.

Room was fine - comfy beds and clean - all fairly standard. Staff were really friendly - and very welcoming. Breakfast was fantastic - and we are a really fussy family! Loads of selection and we didn’t feel rushed even though we arrived towards the end of service. 2 minutes walk from Russel Square tube station so really easy to get around central London. Good value. Would book again.

The hotel is VERY close to the Russell Square tube station. It is embedded in its neighborhood, so it is not grandiose, but the staff work hard to make it nice.

Fantastic!
Wow, the hotel staff were amazing! We showed up way too early, but they hooked us up with a room that was ready. No need to lug our stuff around the city. Checking out was a breeze too; we left our bags there till evening. My nephews got cute teddy bears at checkout, and those little guys became our London sidekicks! Rooms were spotless and comfy. The location was great, just one underground stop from Kings Cross, and you could easily access the whole city via that stop. Nearby, there's a Waitrose that's open late and a Boots for any last-minute things. Only downer was the fish and chips in the pub – tasted more like oven stuff than the real deal. But all in all, it was brilliant!

Bloomsbury stay - January 2024
The hotel was clean and fine for a place to sleep but overall it is pretty run down and basic. From the room you can hear people in the rooms at either side and walking around the corridor pretty loudly, it's not at all sound proof like suggested. Whilst we were in the room at a point, the room had already been cleaned by the cleaning service that morning, a cleaner let themselves into the room? When we asked why she said 'just to check everything is fine' - felt a bit weird. Staff on the reception were really nice.

London family stay
Very convenient and centrally located place to stay in London. Local transport was next to hotel. All nice restaurants surrounding the hotel stay. Me and my family had a great stay at this hotel. Hotel staff are warm and welcoming.

The room was not very clean when we arrived. There was 3 fresh blood spots on the floor. Crumbs also on the floor. The beds were clean and comfortable. The bathroom had an odor, i think from the shower curtain. It was clean though. The staff were very helpful and brought milk if we needed it. The room was warm and they sorted that. The bathroom fan was not working so it got rather steamy and hot. Great shower. Good breakfast choices.

Not worth the money
There was a moldy smell in the bathroom. Everything was dirty, scratched up, and old appearing overall. Carpets were dirty. The bathtub had black mold in the calking. The headboard and closet were scratched up. There was a cabinet with space for a mini-fridge but no actual fridge. No AC. The customer service was fine until I got a call in the middle of the night that there were noise complaints against me. When I informed the caller that I have been asleep this whole time so clearly this was someone else, they said “yeah well our staff can hear noise outside your room too”. Once I refuted the false claims more and also told them the noise is likely coming from the room next to me because I CAN HEAR IT TOO, they just said “ok ok ma’am” and cut the phone. And in regards to noise, there’s a bar/restaurant downstairs that has noise from the patrons there late into the night, which will disturb your sleep too.

I would have rated this location higher but the condition of the carpeting in our room was horrible. The bathroom was excellent, breakfast was very good and the staff was polite and helpful. The downer was the carpet condition. It was far beyond worn. It was abysmal. Very near restaurants and even a supermarket. Good location.

Hotel is well located, modern lobby as well as rooms. It has a cafeteria in the lobby area as well as a pub/Bar for drinks and food. I would recommend and repeat. Not cheap but considering it is downtown London it was a fair fare. My only complaint would be the actual access to the front door which is blocked and in order to take a taxi or Uber you have to walk a few yards/meters. Same issue when we were dropped
