Long Beach Stay

Great dog friendly place with a sizable yard near beach!

This place was perfect for an intimate gathering of family. Our dog was delighted with being able to play ball in the back yard and go for walks to the beach. Each room was comfortable and having 2 bathrooms available for 6 people was terrific! We would definitely pick this cottage again. Thank you owner and VBO!

Vacation house

We came into town for the sand castle festival and the house was perfect for all our needs. It was close to town and the kitchen was well outfitted with dishes, pots, pans and cooking utensils. We enjoyed the board games and puzzles in the evenings. The path to the beach was overgrown halfway down, but we were in town at the beach most days. The fan in the main bathroom in the hall did not work, but it was a minor inconvenience. We would stay again if we come back into town!

It was all good. We'll supplied house, clean, quiet neighborhood. No direct view of ocean, but if you are mobile, you could walk from back yard directly to ocean. It was not luxurious, but good value for the price.

Charming cottage within a beautiful walk to the beach

We enjoyed our two night stay here. Make sure to check the lease terms for restrictions on pets and on other activities that might affect planned outings. It’s also too bad the property doesn’t have a fire pit, as that would really complete the package. Besides those restrictions, our stay was perfectly enjoyable. The amenities are dated, but fully functional and I think that adds to the charm. The 5-10 min walk to the beach is very enjoyable. We had plenty of beds for our kids, and we felt very comfortable, just like going to grandmas house. The central heat was superb and kept everyone happy. We’d highly recommend this place overall! Thanks for providing such a nice, clean, warm, cozy place to stay!

Property owner/management should disclose that the yard really isn't a dog friendly yard ANYWHERE even the path to the beach, ground is covered in many sticker type plants that get into your pets paws, both my dogs are severely irritated, I'll have to visit my vet, Otherwise house is just like Grandma left it. Master bed was comfortable, loved the location and privacy of beach area even on a busy weekend, house could use another frying pan . Only has 1, Besides my dogs paws we enjoyed our stay,

Nice place. Needs updates.

Carole’s place is nice. This is our second stay there. Between stays (1.5 years) some things have been broken that need fixed. The kitchen cabinet door swings open randomly. The master shower is so low it hits you in the stomach instead of the the head, and many of the doors have scraped things. When we checked in we received a message that we needed to pick up a key. There was no key and no lockbox sign. I called. Was supposed to get an address texted to me because there is now a lock pad on the property. Never got a text with the address. Good thing I have stayed before and knew where to go. My daughter also lost her blanket there. I’ve messaged. We will see if I get a reply. Also all the patio chairs are broken so there’s no where to sit on the deck. This was very disappointing on some very sunny days! On to the good-the house sleeps a lot of people. The kitchen is well stocked with pots and pans and coffee as well as some spices. The walk to the beach is pleasant, although the path was flooded so we had to ask the neighbors to use their access. The beds are Comfy and it’s a cozy place away from the craziness of downtown. Updates and better communication would make this the perfect place.

Great weekend getaway

We had a great stay! This was our second time at this property and will definitely come back. We love the quiet neighborhood and that it’s off the Main Street. It also has a trail to the beach. It’s a great place for kids and pets!

Tiffany really was a gem, she was very helpful and great to rent from. We deffinatly would rent this house again, it was equipped with everything we needed. Comfortable, and close to beach. Very clean, We got to see deer and rabbits during our stay.
