I booked this accommodation for one night. I knew it was a basic room. Within minutes of arriving, I saw ants throughout the hotel room. I realize we are on an island so I figured it was normal. Later on in the evening, I noticed my AC unit was leaking water. I turned it off but it was still leaking. I called down to the front desk and the gentleman was in my room right away and fixed the leak very quickly with no more issues. I told him about the ants and he said that wasn’t normal and that I must have brought food in. The only thing I ate was a granola bar and all my food was packaged. I put the trash can out on the balcony but there were still ants around the room and bathroom. Speaking of the bathroom, if you are anything other than a small or medium size, the shower is tight. Water got everywhere, including the toilet which is right next to you as you are showering. Lastly, the curtains are so thin that it does not block out any light. An eye mask is a must. Positives- it’s in a busy area but surprisingly you don’t hear much noise with the AC unit on. The staff is also very helpful and arrived within minutes when needed. The location is right next to the port and restaurants which is convenient.

This hotel was absolutely beautiful as is, but the staff are what made our visit so memorable. They were incredibly friendly and helpful. Giving us recommendations, letting us borrow a power converter and being so flexible with every request. We hope to come back one day!
