“The property is quirky but well located and maintained, and the breakfast was delicious. However, the owner was surly, abrupt and grumpy. My visit appeared to be an inconvenience to him and he made no attempt to smile or provide assistance. While recognising that it is not his fault that I cannot speak Spanish, long diatribes in his local language when it was clear I could not understand a word he was saying was unhelpful. I felt like a naughty school child. I definitely would not return.”

“Very good and quiet location near the National Park. Small and very cosy hotel. The staff were especially friendly and helpful. The breakfasts on the shady terrace were very good, with a great outlook. Quite a climb from the car park to the reception but internal lifts made it easy to move around the hotel.
