On prior years' visits, the experience was much better. Unfortunately, the hotel has deteriorated this from the smaller to bigger aspects: prices have increased, service decreased e.g. no drinking water in the deluxe room, restaurant food not good/over priced, they allowed a very loud high school graduation party in the central area, which was bad enough on a Friday evening, but instead of ending at 11 pm it went past 1 am (many guests complained), and the reservations department was unfriendly and not service oriented. Sad because this was my go-to hotel in Loreto, but I do not expect to return again...

We stayed in a nice large ocean front room with very effective AC (thank heavens) up on the 4th floor, good views, comfortable bed and a delicious breakfast. There is a nice water front side walk that goes either to the Marina (and beyond) or down to a stretch of mostly sand beach.
The only "complaint" would be a few of the local fishermen heading to work seemed to love driving by at 4:30-5:30 AM with windows open and music turned up very loud. Weekends had the same thing going on with the locals cruising up and down the short water front road to be seen and heard by their friends- a local tradition that the hotel is not at all responsible for, just a head's up for first time visitors like ourselves.

The check-in staff was horrible, rude and caring and gave no interest and trying to please. The customer. It’s like this. Is it enjoy it or not if you don’t like it move on. Horrible. Horrible horrible. Hopefully you don’t have to deal with Mario. He was horrible.

"This little gem is amazing! It might be the Mesquite or La Mission but having direct beach access walking out my room 👌 The breakfast was good, I had Sea Bass and Italian buffet for dinner, finger licking . Free Kayak and Paddlle board was a plus. Onsite car rental."
