"We stayed at the The Loft because of its location to the Monte Vista Wildlife Preserve and the historic building it is located in. We also went to South Fork to cross country ski at their local groomed trails. A stop in Del Norte for some Elk meat. All in all we had a great visit, did some hiking around La Garita. Will definitely return for more adventures from the Loft!"

"What a cool experience it was to stay in the grain bin! The unit was special and had everything we needed for a night’s stay. Stargazing was incomparable. Definitely a remote /off the grid adventure. 10/10 will remember this stay and recommend to others!"

"Just right - cozy, clean, and a short walk to the Rio Grande river trail. Neighbors are kind, host is easy to contact. "

"We enjoyed the views and the quiet. We hiked trails, explored the small town and the sand dunes. My only suggestion is bring something for the smell (candle, plug-in, etc).smelsmell. "
