There were no bugs, the sheets were clean, and beds were comfortable. The staff was friendly and helpful. The breakfast was sufficient—coffee, juice (apple and orange), bread (and a toaster), cereal (Fruit Loops and Raisin Bran), and a Texas-shaped waffle maker. The breakfast area was kept stocked and tidy. Upon check-in, I went in (before I brought my kids and dogs in) and found a pill on the floor next to the bed. Google search said it was a Nexium. The bare floor (no carpet) did not appear to have been cleaned well, if at all, and had hair and debris, as well as dirt throughout. There was also long dark hair around the sink/counter area. The AC barely kept the room cool. The outdoor pool was small and a bit cloudy, but it was nice for the kids. The area of town was not the nicest, but we never felt threatened. Overall, for the price, it was okay. I don’t know that I’d stay there again.
