“The check in was poor as communication between Hotels.com and the hotel was non existent,my reservationwas not received by Avoca ,I think hotels.com is to blame here.Security guards at the establishment were very rude and unfriendly. “Although I booked the lodge only for a one-night stay-over, I was impressed by the calm, tranquil, relaxing atmosphere and setting. Welcomed by a whole range of bass to soprano frog-soloists competing with each other, I felt like entering paradise. Slept well in a spacious suite, and enjoyed a wonderful breakfast, included in the rate.”
