Kamppi is a lively area. Near the hotel, there are lots of shops and restaurants. There is also a supermarket next door, which is very convenient. The room is clean and modern. The photos on the web may be slightly confusing, as some are taken from other rooms. Still, the rooms should be big enough for one or two people. I love the sauna room on the top floor, too, which is very clean. However, if you book via Expedia and arrive in Helsinki extremely early (I arrived before 6am), there may be a chance that you will not get the door code right away. The staff told me that Expedia only paid them at 7am, and they could only provide me with the door code for luggage drop off after the payment. I contacted the staff for that, and the communication was smooth.

We loved the sauna and washing machine in the room. Lot of space for my wife/2 year old. I work remotely and was able to work at night while they were asleep in a different room, which make things way better. We cooked each night in the room. Location is great, walk to Central Market is 10 minutes (15 if you walk slower). Clean, modern, cares about the environment which is huge for us, and all around a great Boutique Hotel mixed with an Apartment atmosphere. Great idea. I wish the USA had places like this. Excellent facilities right next to public transport and grocery store.

Excellent stay! Bob responded immediately and access was so easy. Everything great and so central and close to train and everything you need. Walk to water was really close.
