“The biggest issue for me was the AC. The bedroom stayed somewhat cool, but the living room was unbearably hot and there were no AC controls available. I even messaged the host because I genuinely thought something was wrong, but unfortunately there was no real solution and I just had to deal with it.The host was kind and responsive, but the overall setup was confusing at check in and the neighborhood felt a little sketchy at night. “The rental itself was spacious and clean. The neighborhood was a bit run down, but overall it was okay. There was a pool advertised, which we never saw or could locate. It may the town community pool they were referring to, but it was demolished and still a mile or so from the actual property. It was close to the venue we were attending and we also found a couple hidden gems nearby for food, so we did enjoy our stay.”

“Small one room with a utility closet with small refrig & microwave. Entry via outside door. .Small rear yard with fence needing repair backing up to a somewhat busy street. Central air but control panel in main unit unavailable to renter. Trouble with smoke detector going off intermittently 1st of 2 nites Owner responded but we surprised her sister in the room next day attempting to fix. Bigger surprise was the wall of the utility closet that slid open to give her access to the rental unit.……
