Get the feeling of rustic living with all of the modern amenities. From the stainless steel appliances; master bedroom with queen bed and the loft with 2 new full size mattresses (one extra firm hybrid coil mattress and one medium/plush memory foam bed), to the fire pit and outdoor hot tub. Nice stay
The home was very nice and we enjoyed ourselves. It was tucked away so you have a lot of privacy.

Great stay by first timer with couple notes
This was my first time using Vrbo and had a great time at the rental. There were a few quirks with the stay, which is why I took off 1 star on checkin and accuracy: - the row boat indicated in the listing at the dock was unusable with a large dent in the middle of it - the clean dishes from the prior renter were still in the dishwasher... the rental agreement didn’t mention unloading by any party so not sure who was responsible for unloading - the prior renters had moved the HDMI cable to hook up their device, so I had to plug it back into the dish receiver For positives, the hot tub was clean and hot, the neighborhood quiet and private, the master bed comfortable, and the rental agreement covered most of our questions. Overall we had a very relaxing time and would recommend staying here.

Quite cabin in the woods
This was a great place to stay for the price. Home owners were very easy to communicate with and always had a fast response. Enjoyed a wooded view with a symphony of birds. Very peaceful. It’s a good distance from town but there was a small grocery store nearby. Close to beach and lower Hamlin Lake. The cabin had some cooking/baking supplies left from previous renters which was nice since we forgot to bring a few things. A gas and charcoal grill were on the property available to use. No complaints.

Great getaway
We will definitely be back. Had a great time. Amazing place in a quiet spot. Great fishing. Very accommodating.

Winter Weekend Getaway
This place was beautiful! The cottage is unique and very well maintained. You can tell that the owners have a lot of pride in their property. They pay attention to every detail. If you have any questions or concerns, they will respond immediately. Its scenic and serene. However, it's only a 15 minute drive from downtown Ludington which also has a lot to offer. This was my first time using VRBO and it was a great experience. My only suggestion for future VRBOers: Be patient with the pellet stove when lighting it for the first time. It takes forever. But it's great when it does light up! I would rate this overall experience "6 Stars" if they let me! * FYI: If you're a vegan, hipster, or any type of self righteous ignoramus; the taxidermy decor on the walls may offend you. I, however, LOVED it!!!
