"Beautiful property. Exceptional staff, especially Annabelle Weiss at reception . Always courteous and helpful. Rooms were very modern but a bit quirky. Light switches and outlets difficult to work at first. Excellent buffet breakfast and beautiful restaurant. Very convenient location right next to the central station and Ubahn station, however there is a fair amount of construction in the area and the area to the west of the hotel is a bit rundown, but you can avoid it easily as there is nothing to see in that direction. Easy walk to old town and pedestrian shopping areas. Overall,this is a beautiful hotel with excellent service. Happy we chose THE SOFITEL."

"We had a great 2 night stay here. We arrived by train and partly chose the hotel due to it being close to the Hauptbahnhof. I had taken note of others reviews that the entrance can be tricky to find and used Google Maps to direct us. We did indeed have to stop and look carefully to see the entrance when we had 'arrived'. However we had received a Whatsapp message before arrival and the stylised 'Yours Truly' icon there matched the Hotel sign which helped me see it. The communication from the hotel from time of booking to check out was excellent. My queries were quickly and cheerfully answered. We were made to feel very welcome on arrival and the cold beer offered went down a treat on an unusually hot April day. The hotel and room features were explained to us and we were escorted to the lifts to ensure we managed the code and prompts ok. We had several requests while there, managed via Whatsapp and very quickly responded to. Unfortunately we could not get the room cool enough using the air conditioning (we ultimately discovered the cooling had not been turned on for the season yet as the heat was unusual for this time of year). Windows could be opened which cooled the room somewhat overnight but let in the street noise (we were on the pedestrian street side but being a weekend there were a lot of people out and about and many sirens! With the windows closed noise was not a problem). Despite this issue we would stay here again due to the level of service and room features."

"Despite the fact that the hotel location is right in front of the main train/subway station, the room was quiet, even on weekend days.Yes, the surroundings of the hotel might seems "sketchy", but any downtown of any city is! Very convenient location. Walkable to many touristics attractions. Staff was nice, room and hotel were clean. Room size was decent compare to other hotels in Europe. Breakfast was great. If you go during rush hour, yes, they might not have time to "refill" everything. But plenty of options available dor breakfast. I would definately recommend this hotel. Do not hesitate to book your stay there!!"

"I've stayed in many hotels in Munich, near the train station and this one is the best- very comfortable, clean, great amenities and great location. The breakfast is top notch and so is the spa. They have the most amazing masseuse from Thailand, and she incredible. I'll definitely be staying here when I'm back in Munich. "
