"Hotel staff were always helpful and friendly when they were in the lobby. They weren't always in the lobby in the early morning. Hotel was fairly clean. We found one bug in our room, but it was dead. The A/C worked, but seemed to be off. We had it set at 63° to make it comfortable in our room. At home we keep it normally around 70°. Location was very convenient for what we needed. Would stay here again."

"We had a very late (1:30 AM) check-in. We were greeted at the door. When the front desk was checking us in, we mentioned we hadn't had dinner due to delayed flights. She came out with a bag of bagels, yogurt, muffins and water. It was beyond appreciated! The hotel layout was unique. The room was great and very clean. Nothing but good things to say. We normally stay at top of the line hotels and were pleased at the level of quality and service."

"This is a really charming vintage cottage with a fun mid-century aesthetic. The interior is thoughtfully decorated and stays true to the home’s retro character. There is plenty of room to spread out, with multiple spaces to relax and hang out, and we especially appreciated that the cottage is pet friendly.That side, some aspects that might be attributed to the home’s age felt more like deferred maintenance than intentional vintage charm. Cleanliness was an 8/10 and could have been better upon arrival, with things like hair left in shower drains and laundry left in the dryer. The main bed was very comfortable. The couches, while fitting for the style of the home, aren’t the best for lazing around and watching tv on rainy days when you’re stuck indoors.The cottage sits next to an empty lot, and beyond that is a small “public beach” (really just an input for boats). People are allowed to walk through the yard up to 10 feet from the shoreline. During our weeklong stay, we had a few visitors walk-through. Most were not a concern, although one odd person walked well above the shoreline through the backyard at 5 AM, which startled us when our dog alerted us to their presence.The surrounding neighborhood felt somewhat rough around the edges, although the cottage itself appeared to be one of the nicer properties in the area.Overall, we enjoyed our stay and appreciated the unique character, space, and pet-friendly accommodations."
