"The house was not what it said in the listing. There were 4 bedrooms but he locked all of them all except for one. There was stuff all around the house and it smelled. I didn’t feel safe staying here because two cars were parked right out side and 5 of the doors were locked. Do not rent from him. I tried to talk to him and he took forever to respond. I ended up staying somewhere else on my own dime. Avoid at all costs."

"We stayed at Stryn Hotel for one night and it was great! The staff was quick to respond to my messages through Expedia asking about a later check-in time and they were very welcoming and informative upon arrival. The room was clean and they had a great variety of breakfast options. Very convenient location and happy overall with our quick stay!"

"The most beautiful location sitting out on the fjord. The apartment was beautiful, the furniture top class in the kitchen well appointed. The self check in would not let me check in after 3 pm, saying the room wasn’t ready so I had to contact staff via WhatsApp. On checkout, I was emailed a checkout online form which required me to pay an additional sum so I went to the checkout booth to check out via that method and it also told me I owed the same amount of money. I had paid upfront via Expedia and you didn’t have anything else to pay. I did contact them and tell them this was happening and I couldn’t check out and they said just leave your key and go. I wonder how many people actually pay this thinking they owe additional money. There is something to be a bit weary Of. Other than that, this place is the best place I have stayed in Norway by far. I will be back."

"This hotel is in an excellent location perched above the fjord and away from the cruise ship crowds. Our hotel room was amazing. We booked the king bed suite with the fjord view. It was hard to leave the room! We dined at the restaurant in the hotel and enjoyed an amazing meal that Chef Johnny prepared. Amazing experience overall!"

"Die Wohnung ist modern und neuwertig und sehr gemütlich! Die Küche ist super ausgestattet, wenn man sich selbst versorgen möchte. Vom Balkon hat man Aussicht auf den Gletscher. Die Wohnung liegt ruhig, Ausgangspunkte für Wanderungen sind mit dem Auto in wenigen Minuten zu erreichen. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt! Mit ganz kleinen Kindern ist vielleicht noch die Treppe in der Wohnung ein Thema."

"The room was tiny with no room on either side of the bed. It worked well for a one-night stay for the two of us. Oscar provided an extension cord for a CPAP machine. The breakfast was wonderful and we enjoyed talking with the other guests about the area. We even discovered that we had a mutual connection through ancestral farms in Skjåk. Her ancestors were Bøye and mine are listed as Bøje, which appear to be variations of the same name."

"Such an historic beautiful old hotel in Solvorn, Norway for our last stay before leaving the country. We just so happened to arrive the evening of the biggest storm in the last 25 years and our room was right in front of the ferry/dock to see all the action. As we arrived later in the day we were too exhausted to dine there so they brought us nice sandwiches and champagne upon arrival too."
