Inside the home: • Two bedrooms o One with a California King o One with two twin beds • A fully stocked kitchen with everything you need for cooking and dining • A fireplace in the living room, perfect for cozy evenings after a day outdoors • A spacious deck overlooking Mt. Audubon, Thunderbolt Peak, St. Vrain Mountain, and Meadow Mountain If you hike up the mountain behind the house, you’ll reach viewpoints of Long’s Peak, Mount Meeker, and several other iconic summits. Community & Outdoor Amenities The community spans 600 acres of beautiful mountain land you’re free to explore, including six stocked lakes within walking distance. Fishing • No Colorado fishing license required • A community badge is required — I’ll provide one • Fishing poles available upon request Wildlife Sightings are common (though never guaranteed). Guests and our cameras have spotted bears, moose, elk, bobcats, bighorn sheep, turkeys, bald eagles, and even a mountain lion near the home. Snow in this area usually melts quickly, but during active storms, travel can be more challenging. For the safest experience, 4WD or AWD is recommended. Roads are plowed once about 4 inches of snow have accumulated, but the driveway and cabin stairs are not regularly cleared. Shovels are available at the base of the stairs if needed. This is part of a small private community hidden in the mountains. It was peaceful and quiet and the place is quite nice. We enjoyed sitting out on the porch to watch the sunset. I must say that I appreciate the fact that they have an a/c available. We only needed it one night but appreciate that it was available. The drive into Estes Park is beautiful and easy to make. The drive into the meadow from the main road is also a nice ride.
