In the heart of the charming wine-growing village of Nueil-sur-Layon, this single-story cottage for 2 people offers an authentic stay in the heart of Anjou, ideal for discovering the Saumur region and its treasures. Just a few minutes away, you can visit the Bioparc and Roseraie de Doué-la-Fontaine, admire the equestrian prowess of the Cadre Noir de Saumur, explore the majestic Château de Montreuil-Bellay, or discover the troglodyte dwellings that make the region so unique. The Layon Valley invites you to stroll among renowned vineyards, charming villages along the Loire, castles, historic churches and abbeys, as well as numerous cultural and gastronomic sites. You can round out your visits with visits to the Château de Saumur, Fontevraud Abbey, the Tank Museum, or the charming villages of Montsoreau and Candes-Saint-Martin.

The rental offers a large 38 m² living room with a dining area, a comfortable living room with two sofas and a television, and a fully equipped kitchen. A bedroom with a 140x190cm double bed and a bathroom with a walk-in shower complete this cozy retreat, along with a separate toilet.

Outside, enjoy a private terrace with garden furniture, a parasol, and a barbecue, perfect for relaxing in the great outdoors. For the ultimate in relaxation, the private spa (open from mid-April to the end of September) awaits you after your walks.

Located on a working farm, the cottage offers a peaceful stay, with expert advice from owners Christine and Alain for exploring the region. The "Au petit coin de la ferme" cottage (H49G019962) is also available on the property and can be booked with it to accommodate up to 6 people. Baby equipment is provided upon request, and Wi-Fi and private parking are included. All-inclusive rate: sheets, towels, and utilities included. End-of-stay cleaning is an additional charge.

This rental is ideal for a romantic weekend, a romantic getaway, or to enjoy the nature and culture of Anjou, while being close to numerous hiking trails, cycling paths, and wine tours through the vineyards.

A great place to stay

The gîte is located in the middle of the wheat fields and sunflowers. The owners are very hospitable and helpful. The tranquility around the gîte is magical. The gite was neat, clean and there is plenty of space for two people. The gîte is equipped with all amenities and there is even a private jacuzzi, which is wonderful after a day of cycling. Conclusion this is really a top location.
