Theaters, museums, shopping, parks, restaurants and bars, better impossible. The first bedroom is interior with wardrobe and bathroom en suite. The second bedroom is exterior with its own terrace, bathtub and sofa on the terrace and its own bathroom with shower. It has a kitchenette and bar stools to chat while one is preparing the food. The dining room is open to the spacious living room that leads to the terrace with Balinese wrought iron bed, table and chairs. The unit was clean, and the bathrooms and kitchen were remodeled. One unpleasant detail was opening the entrance door and noticing that a portion of the wood floor was missing, so you had to walk on the concrete slab. It should mention, however, the hostel in the lower floors - with some dicey occupants in entry spaces. Also the apartment flooring is missing in places or so splintered as to snag and ruin socks. It was in the middle of everything. Plenty of nearby restaurants, shopping and theaters. Plus, it was within walking distance of the Prado or the Templo de Debod. The main problem was the condition of the floor. A portion was missing in front of the door which made it difficult to walk down the hall without twisting an ankle. Some nails were sticking up and they would cut your feet if you forgot your shoes. While we definitely enjoyed our stay, here are the summary points (both good and needing improvement): Pros: Location is great; flat is very spacious; bathrooms were both clean and large; flat was very quiet despite being on the busiest street in Madrid; Challenges: communication was poor...ask several questions and then delayed response to one question; too difficult to find blankets; unable to access HVAC due to no remotes; wifi access instructions were not accurate; wood plank floorings in bad need of refinishing and are a hazard walking on in bare feet; toaster did not work and prop manager wasn't interested in replacing it while we were there. ##### Eric V. 2023 年 10 月入住 7 晚
