"Wow, this place is AMAZING! The hotel manager was really helpful and friendly. All the guests were invited to join a wine tasting, totally complimentary. When we joined the others in the evening it turned out to be everyone sat at a long table with glasses ready. One man explained the rudimentaries of wines and in between, the hotel manager sang lots of funny songs with a guitarist. What an unexpected pleasure! Something we will never forget. The castle and our room were lovely. Wish we could have stayed longer...maybe next time."

"Great hotel at a very reasonable price. Second time we've been over the last two years, and we'd come again next summer if passing through. Accommodating and friendly staff - English spoken. Air conditioning worked a treat, bathroom facilities excellent too. Clean and tidy. Car SatNav couldnt find the hotel - we ended up driving through some very tight medieval back streets. Solved this by Google maps on my phone - I navigated to a shop on the corner of the carpark street instead."

"It was very practical as it was a last minute booking! accessing and parking was perfect as we did not want to get involved with the city traffic, staff was super friendly and professional and the room not only met our need but it was really up to great standards for a 3 * hotel. Definitely worth returning! "
