Calling it "newly renovated" is a bit of a stretch. I don't find any signs of recent renovation. Maybe the furniture? The bathroom was clean for Philippine standards, but not for Western standards. The room didn't have a fridge or a microwave, only a kettle, limiting

Very old and outdated. If you want to borrow an iron, they charge 100 pesos. Can’t turn on the faucet for hot water. We tried to check out before 8am and the person on duty was sleeping in sofa in the waiting area.
