“The property is across from the ocean and just down the street from the aquarium and restaurants. Was a bit disappointed some parts of the property need to have some maintenance done, the tub is pealing and needs to be replaced or fixed. The other bathroom has gaps around the bottom of the door and around one side. So a cold breeze blows in while you are trying to shower. Also the hot water only comes out as a trickle where as the cold water comes out full blast. Have long hair was hard to……

“The property was very comfortable; we had the fire going and it heated the whole place up making it very cozy as we had a 4month old baby. Outside on their deck we could watch the rowers practicing that was great to watch, and there were lots of walk tracks we could do during our stay.”

“Surprised to find out there are three ensuite (3 washroom + 1 disable washroom) in the house. Originally the website stated only have 2 washroom. The environment was nice, facing the wine yards. It has a jacuzzi and bbq area which was nice to try. Overall the house was good for our families. And we tried the fine dining in the restaurant also - service & food was good. If there are more clothes hangers and hook for clothes - that will be great.”

“We spent 4 nights at Fig Cottage. The location was perfect, being on the same plot of land as the host's home, down a no-exit street so very quiet. It's just a few minutes drive from the centre of Havelock North. The property was extremely clean with fresh flowers and chocolates waiting for us. Breakfast was really good - cereal, yoghurt and cheesy muffins, with plunger coffee and tea.Christiana is an amazing host, promptly replenishing any supplies we needed. Communication was via text to……
