Good location, near by Mannheim train station. From hotel to central city only 10-15 minutes by walk. This hotel has their own style, like they say "when music meets industry". I opted for a slightly bigger room this time and was not disappointed as it had the "Hairspray" theme (yes, the John Waters movie). Since I was on the back, it was super-quiet and rather spacious. My only complaint was no fridge, but then again, Mannheim was so cold that the water and wine bottles on the window ledge stayed perfectly cold. Nice wine bar and good selection of local wines. Rooms are small, quirkily decorated, but (importantly!) quite comfy. Include the breakfast in your reservation as it is VERY filling. I did not need to eat lunch!
