First class experiencePosted Apr 30, 2017
Pros: View, ocean swimming and staff
Cons: I can't offer any suggestions
Location: Many choices of restaurants on site. Manzanillo restaurants would be an inexpensive cab/bus ride away. We are swimmers so only swam in the ocean
Walkable, swimmable beach, many choices of pools including an adult only pool. Attentive, personable staff always ready to help you. Food was excellent and many options. The hotel was older but very well maintained and spotless

Beautiful views, disappointing condition & servicePosted Apr 13, 2017
Pros: Location, views, previous positive experiences
Cons: Overall maintenance & cleanliness, upfront transparency on fees and charges, elevators safety
Location: Great location with beautiful views
We have stayed in Las Hadas for decades so didn`t hesitate to book expecting another cherished family experience, but our experience this time was very disappointing. With the change in hotel ownership the facilities maintenance is very poor and the place looks and feels really outdated. The elevators are a real danger lacking door sensors to prevent closure while occupants are entering or exiting. During check-in we were told that the breakfast was included, however once at the restaurant, we were told that what it wasn`t. The pillows in the bedroom had a terrible smell and the upholstery of the furniture that was once white is terribly deteriorated and shows dirt and stains. When our friends came to the hotel to visit and have lunch we were told that there was a daily fee required to grant their access. Really sad and disappointing experiencing, truly reluctant to come back or to recommend this hotel.

Great beach for kids.Posted Apr 2, 2017
The beach and pool were wonderful for our 6 & 8 year old. They could float on the ocean bay and not fear the waves (small and fun) or floating out to sea. The Platform was fun to swim to and jump off of. The beach was comfortable. The pool and beach were close enough to go back and forth easily. The food was decent and the room comfortable. We had trouble with hot water in the shower, but that may have been operator error. We will return.

Lovely hotel, wonderful locationPosted Apr 2, 2017
This was our third stay over the last 20 years and we were pleasantly surprised. Service, accommodations and pool were great. Genero and all the reception staff were very helpful.

Very nice hotel, with private beach.Posted Mar 29, 2017
Pros: Great hotel!
Cons: The steps inside of the bedroom were not very ideal for my parents. The suntan bed were always empty with towels. Uncomfortable beach chairs
My parents had an excellent stay! Food and beverage were good quality!

Outdated hotelPosted Mar 24, 2017
Hotel needs updating. Our bed was very hard because it was one of those cemented box spring. I could not sleep comfortably. The room had a humid musty odor. There was no ceiling fan. A very tiny elevator. We were not allowed to take our small boom box or outside beverages into public areas. We were the only 2 people in pool area, but were told we could not listen to our music even though it was not playing loudly. Hotel staff was friendly, but at checkin they would not switch our double beds for a king sized bed. Hotel is very far from most tourist areas. I will not return to this hotel.

very hard bedsPosted Mar 21, 2017
Pros: the hotel is nice, the beach is also too.
Cons: bedroom furniture, mattresses, more options in the dolphin restaurant's menu,
Location: the beach is private and very calm. you need a car or taxi to go everywhere but there are some restaurants nearby like 5-10 min driving
as I have reviewed before this hotel needs a renewal specially in its beds, they are hard as rocks my hips still ache from that bed and also they changed the pool hours and for the kids it is not fair for them to take them out of it at 7 pm when there is still light the new manager made some changes also in the dolphin restaurant´s menu they have a very few plates to order and they used to have more and they have a very good chef but we can't enjoy his plates like before service this time was very good, the recepcionists, waiters, valets, everyone was very kind.

Hotel is showing its age. Moldy and when turned on shower rusty water ran out
