Very happy with this hotel overall. 4 stars instead of 5 for a few small reasons. Laundry is SUPER expensive compared to other hotels and laundry services in the country. And the checkout is really early, 10am.
Also, don’t get the patio view rooms. We stayed here twice, a couple days before and few days after the Inca Trail. The first stay we booked a Patio View room and your room is very close to a busy road so it’s noisy. The second time we got just a regular standard room and it was so peaceful with a beautiful view of their garden.
We also were never given a room upgrade or food & drink discount, even though it was listed as a perk for Expedia Platinum accounts. Other hotels have gone above and beyond with this perk and with this hotel, nothing. Small thing though.
Their spa really did help with soreness after the Inca trail. It’s a bit more expensive compared to other massages advertised in the area, but I was also told that the cheaper massages are not good quality.

"Only stayed for 2 nights before our Salkantay trek. The rooms were quite small. We had reserved a room with 2 double beds to have extra space but got a room with only 1 double bed. It was great location and convenient to get to everywhere we wanted to go to in Cusco. Would have been nice to have ..."
