“This was a gem to find. We decided to extend our stay and the staff were very accommodating. The history of the villa is incredible and even more interesting that it is still with the original family. A huge sense of pride and passion is palpable from the current owners. Breakfast on the loggie and drinks in the garden was awesome.”

“The check in process is truly dreadful. Very small print on the Expedia booking instructing the person booking to contact the proprietor 48 hours before arrival as they don’t have a reception. Why on earth are they not emailing the customer?! Why is the paying customer being asked to seek them out for the privilege of entering a property they have paid for?! If this really must be the process, please please make this clearer. Thankfully I noticed this, and after a nail biting delay of nearly 24……

“ok to stay but not recommended: - Bed kept making noise and almost felt apart (fortunately it did not during my stay) - Half shower door missing and the floor was all wet after shower - Room was not well clean, shaved hair and glass fragment found in the shower - The room was in a residential building. The neighborhood is not very suitable for tourist we need to rely on tram to get to the city, but having a large supermarket close by is a plus side”
