“This Abraham Bohol is the best hostel (just for the dormitory room area)I stayed in Pilipinas. The dormitory room is quite big and clean, with 2 showers & 2 restrooms. Swimming pool is really nice. Breakfast is very good as you paid just 10USD for the bed. The staffs are very friendly and helpful. I joined the Virgin Island tour and it was running very well. BTW, it has private rooms as well. Very very very good for your stay in Bohol !!! :)”
“An excellent accommodation for a nature-lover. I like the tranquility and peaceful environment there. Enjoy the feeding of animals like monkeys, chickens and fish. The staff is helpful and friendly. Special thanks to Sabino, the driver, who is a very experienced young man who is a tour guide in the Loboc River cruise”
“It is situated nicely and tucked in a quiet neighborhood. The way it was designed the villas and rooms has walk ways and outside nature you could enjoy. The pool is a plus. The cafe and restaurant had a relaxing and quiet feel. It is a reasonable price including breakfast. Also we met a neighbor Alfred who took us a nice private tour. Good job Secret Garden Resort. Keep up the good work! When I visited Bohol again. This is a place to stay. Staff on restaurant was all wonderful and very……
“The place was hard to find, road wasn't even, bathroom stink, sometimes no running water rooms has ants, i can go on and on..at least tbe staff are nice. We had to check out earlier..”
“Beautiful and cozy resort. I love the high ceilings of the villa. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. The food at the restaurant was very good and very affordable for the quality served. Highly recommend this resort for anyone staying in Bohol. Only downside is the somewhat remote location, so you will need transportation to get around the main Island. ”
"The hotel was beautiful although not quite ‘zen’ as the name suggests. The hotel seemed to have a deal with tour groups so there was constant bus loads of tourist groups coming through which turned the bar into a bubbling tourist spot with people pushing and shoving your tables and drinks rather than a relaxing place to enjoy your drink as the sun went down. Seems like the hotel needs to work on their zen vibe.
The rooms were beautiful, comfortable beds and a good size. Cleanliness was ok but inconsistent, once our door was left open which was a security risk especially because of the sheer volume of non-guests staying there!
Food was mainly good although issues with meat in food despite informing them of vegetarian diets. You have to prebook the breakfast in the morning so they can have the food ready for you but a few times we came in the morning and had to wait over half an hour for our breakfast - no apologies. It was a very inconsistent service!
Bar staff at the pool had good consistent customer service. There was one lady at the reception that was always friendly and worked really hard to resolve problems, so we appreciate her help a lot! The manager was also very helpful and accommodating so thank you to her! "
