A lovely welcome surprise awaited us when we checked in. After a long travel day all the treats were very appreciated . Staff could not be nicer.

The room was nice, a little out dated but clean. We got a partial sea view which was lovely. The breakfast was really good, plenty to choose from and had some cook to order food items. The bar had a happy hour. However there was only one beer included in the offer, which was more expensive beer, Carlsburg Elephant. During our stay, there was a film being filmed on the roof terrace, where the pool was. We were not told about this, and our room was right below, so every night (6 nights) you could hear banging, people walking and loud music, sometimes into the early hours. We did not want to move as we had a lovey view. When we went to the pool the whole area had not been cleaned up from the film shoot, there was something in the jacuzzi so could not use that all week, there were no sun loungers so had to get some chairs to put by the pool, and no towels, so had to ask for these to be brought up. Not the service you expect. We were paying customers so expected to be able to use all facilities, and was disappointed that the pool and terrace area was not fully available to its guests. Great hotel right by the airport with a lovely outdoor pool. A thoroughly enjoyable stay. Venus room and corridor carpets to room need a bit of TLC as getting a bit worn and dated but the uniqueness of the hotel lets you forgive that. One improvement would be proper sunbeds round the pool as the current furniture doesn't allow you to sunbath properly. Pravin on the bar gave great service.
