"Check in was a breeze, communication was easy and they responded quickly. The cabin itself was perfect. Plenty of sleeping room and hang out space. There was so much for all of us to do from ages 6-40. Kayaking and the lily pad was probably my favorite (only because I couldn’t stay standing on the paddle board haha) we would definitely recommend this place for a short or long vacation. The screened in porch was also a family favorite so we could enjoy the evening minus the bugs. "

"Everything was great, good price. The only thing I didn't like is that the lake was just for looking at, It's very shallow and I took a stick to test what kind of bottom it was and right off the dock it went down about 3 feet of muck. If you don't plan on going in the water it's a GREAT place."

"This was a beautifully private little property. The accommodations were simple but sufficient. The bathroom is tiny but had everything we needed. The kitchen is well equipped and the living area is spacious and comfortable. The bed was soft and the mounted fan in the corner was an added bonus. Due to the extra warm weather and then rain we didn’t have a fire in the fire pit but it’s a great setup for anyone who can take advantage of it. The A/C works great as well. My one and only tiny little complaint would be that some of pots and pans are hard to reach being located above the fridge but that is because I’m short so if you are a little taller you will have no issues. The lake was beautiful and peaceful. A great little place to just get away from it all. 5 stars all around! Hubby and I would be happy to come back again."

"Ryan and Heidi are the Best. We had some minor issues and they came a took care of them that same day. I have read some reviews where they talked about the water but if you ever lived in the country you know there can an odor . We used the water for everything. My siblings and I have my been doing yearly get aways for about 30 years and this was one of the better places we have stayed Again thank you Ryan and Heidi."

"This was an amazingly comfortable, spacious, and welcoming accommodation. We couldn't have hoped for more. All our needs and expectations were met and generally exceeded. Not only were towels, blankets, and all needed cooking equipment available and plentiful, but even games and entertainment were available. We even found a new family favorite board game! Don't miss the treasure hunt, which transfixed our children. It's well worth a mosquito bite or two.Access to the river is to your left and be sure that you have check-in information before you arrive at the front door, because Internet and even phone connectivity is not very reliable until you connect to the property's Wi-Fi. (We actually had to drive back into town for a signal to get the information we had failed to confirm before arriving.)We absolutely will be back in the future. This property made a trip which some of our party were less than enthusiastic about into a memorable family vacation balancing the rugged beauty of the northern woods with the comfort of a sug bed and the occasional necessary escape from the heat and humidity of midday.Enjoyed the fire pit outback especially, but every bit is magical.Awesome!"

"8th time coming to Anderson Lake Lodge and it never ceases to disappoint. It’s a perfect spot for a large group gathering with “up north” vibes. The lodge has tons of space to spread out and sleep comfortably, has lots of games and activities both inside and out, well stocked kitchen, strong enough wifi, and ample seating both inside and out.Only downside for us is it’s not directly on the water, but it’s a short walk to jump in or dangle your feet off the pier. On the upside it’s nice to be right next to a bar/restaurant and just down the road from a gas station for any additional provisions. The hosts are communicative and flexible. Check in and check out are easy and seamless. 5 star spot!"

"This was our second time staying and we loved it. The spider problem was gone which was a huge relief and much appreciated. There were minor issues that didnt bother us but want to be sure you are aware: Microwave handle broken, lower level bathroom toilet seat was broken (we fixed it) balcony off loft bedroom was very dirty with a mound of dirt and unwashed table. As I said, it didnt bother us but if I were an owner, I would want to know. we hope we can visit again! Thank you for sharing your beautiful home. "

"The cabin was what we expected: clean, charming decorations, kitchen had supplies for cooking and cleaning: dishes, utensils, soap, salt & pepper, coffee, drinking water and water for washing. Also had plastic cutlery and styrofoam plates. The outhouse wasn’t that bad. Nice, secluded fire pit area with grates, roasting sticks and a tripod for outdoor cooking. Lawn chairs in the shed (outhouse.) Right off the highway but feels like you’re in the woods. "

"The second stay was just as enjoyable as the first one. The quintessential cabin in the woods, just like a cabin should be in my opinion, hence 5 stars. Clean, super quiet and dark at night for a good rest in a good bed. Perfect location (for me at least) area explorations. A great host, too, to boot. Will definitely be back. "

"Beautiful location to relax and enjoy the silent. No comment everything was okay except the weather...rainy days but overall was a nice vacation. For sure in the future we get it again. Fishing was fun from deck,catch and release and we used the canoe and was plenty of fish all over .(special small mouth bass and pike).I really recommend it for people who want to be in the quiet place.Thx again.
