Rustic Foxhole

Lakefront cabin with kitchen and patio
A stay in this rustic cabin will bring beautiful sunsets on the beach, an unplugged vacation with easy access to Marquette and Munising. Two bedrooms easily sleep four, couches and loft space accessible for more visitors. A full kitchen with full utensils and cooking ware. Toaster, toaster oven, oven, four burner stove. Dining table, TV with DVD player. This is an older cabin, the water is high mineral content and not recommended for drinking but safe for washing and cooking. Miles of sandy beach right across the two lane highway. The access to the beach is fairly limited, but the foxhole is directly across from a scenic turnout with an overlook. Walking to the beach will take you down a fairly steep path but once down there, miles of sandy beach await. The parking area on the property is gravel and the walk down to the foxhole is mixed gravel and sand. Only fifteen miles outside of Marquette and and easy drive to Munising, recommended for those looking to take in nature and outdoor activities the UP has to offer.
Guest accommodations at this cabin offer DVD players and coffee/tea makers. Rooms open to patios. Kitchens offer refrigerators, stovetops, microwaves, and separate dining areas. Bathrooms include showers.

Hidden gem!
This property is the cutest little hidden gem! The Fox Hole has a lot of cute character that makes it feel very cozy. We enjoyed the sunrise right across the street on the beach and campfires under the stars at night. Great location to so many amazing views near the area. We hope to be back again!

Great Cabin on the beach
Very functional cabin right across the road from a beautiful, quiet sand beach. Cabin has plenty of room for several people, two couches in the living room, good sized kitchen and separate dining room with room for 6 to eat easily. The cabin was very clean when we arrived and the host made sure to make arrival easy for us. One heads up is that none of the sleeping areas have doors. Privacy is not a problem(except a bit for the bunk beds, which are in a pass through), but it does mean if the living room has the light on, you will get some light in the bedroom, loft and bunkbed-room. Separate closed entryway and covered rear porch make it easy to keep wet beach or snow gear out of the house.

Cabin was amazing, perfect for a weekend getaway. Public beach across the street, Lakenenland and Casino within minutes and Marquette about a 10 minute drive. Upside for me, but might be a downside to others, there isn't any wifi and mobile data is very slow.

Awesome place!
The location of this property is excellent as Lake Superior is right across the road - and if you need things Marquette is only 10 minutes away and Munising 30 minutes. The beds are good and the place was enjoyable. Highly recommend!
