A nice home away from home

Riad Ajmal is a comfortable and convenient home away from home. I really like the cleanliness of the space and the terrace. My room was very spacious and nicely decorated. The staff were polite and friendly the only thing I think needs improving is the breakfast options some days it was good but other days it felt like the food had been prepared the day before and not so fresh.

Equipe aux petits soins ☺️ Délicieux petit déjeuner chaque matin Nous avons pu laver nos vêtements 👍 Le riad se situe dans la médina a une dizaine de minutes de la place Jamaa el Fna, vous trouverez des restaurants à proximité, merci au GPS 😅 La chambre et la salle de bains étaient propre C'est agréable de se poser tranquillement dans la cour ou sur le roof-top après une journée fatigante dans la ville. Le calme règne au milieu de toute cette frénésie citadine 😌 N'hésitez pas 🤗

We have visited Riad Ajmal in december 2019 and we had a great experience. The service and employees are excellent. So kind and helpful. Our host, Nouredinne, was 24/7 available and arranged everything we needed. During our taxi drive from the airport to the riad, we find the city overwhelming and almost a little bit scary. So hectic. But trust me, this is only in first sight. Our host picked us up at the taxi drop off and guided us to the streets to the riad.

Perfect intro into Medina Riad living in Marrakech

Nice location, on a quiet part with access to be deeper into the medina. The staff is really friendly & so welcoming. Rooms are typical size for a small riad, comfortable beds and good water pressure which is sometimes hard to find! Would come back for sure, a nice place to stay and a reasonable price.

Service excellent

Le service est excellent! Nous avons été très bien accueillis, la chambre était propre et le petit déjeuner copieux et très bon. Le Riad n’est pas loin du zouk et il y a des restaurants et café aux environs. Le Riad Ajmal a réservé un taxi pour nous ramener de l’aéroport au Riad, le conducteur était ponctuel et très aimable. Au global, très bon rapport qualité-prix. Recommandé !

Leider wurde während unseres Aufenthalts auf der Dachterrasse gebaut, so dass diese nur eingeschränkt zu nutzen war. Man hätte darauf bei der Buchung hinweisen müssen. Das Personal war aber sehr bemüht und hilfsbereit.

L'établissement est très joli et bien entretenu. Il est légèrement excentré mais les grands sites restent largement accessibles à pieds. Le personnel est vraiment génial, ils sont souriants et serviables et très attentifs à votre moindre demande (passez par eux pour toutes réservation (taxi, activités...) car ils négocieront bien mieux que vous ;) ) Enfin, nous avons trouvé la literie un peu dur, mais cela reste une question de goût. Nous y retournerons sans la moindre hésitation et avec plaisir.

4 nuits passées dans cet agréable riad ! Il est bien placé, à deux pas de place Djemaa El Fna et dispose de tous les équipements nécessaires. Il a beaucoup de charme, le personnel et le propriétaire sont sympathiques et à votre écoute. Le petit déjeuner est copieux et permet de découvrir des spécialités. Un petit bémol durant ces 4 nuits, un peu d'humidité dans la salle de bain de notre chambre mais des travaux sont en cours de réalisation. C'était parfait, continuez ainsi :)

Riad within the Medina walls

Not a great start when the expected transfer to the Riad wasn’t at the airport so had to get a taxi. The Riad itself was great but the management of the place was ‘relaxed’ to say the least. Stayed for 3 nights. No breakfast on day one, our room wasn’t turned down during our stay and the rooftop terrace was in need of a clean/tidy. Didn’t spoil our trip but the Riad could be great with a little more attention to detail.

Loved our stay and especially the staff!

Myself and a friend stayed in Riad Ajmal for a week this August and had the most amazing time. The neighbourhood feels very safe and quiet. It’s peaceful even though it’s only a walk away from the centre of the city. Our room was a good size and lovely, the A/C was amazing and we especially loved the pool too for cooling down when it got so hot. Our three main hosts made us feel so comfortable in the riad, extremely safe and well looked after. Every morning we were treated to large breakfast in the courtyard by Ahmad, even when we had to leave very early for day trips. He was really friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Fatima cooked amazing food for us- the best tagine we had the entire week (and that’s saying something). And Bety was just an all round star, taking care of us, welcoming us and sharing some of her culture with us. Our relationship with the riad staff and time spent in the riad made our marrrakech trip so special- unlike any other holiday. We would definitely recommend to anyone and we can’t wait to come back!
