“The key was collected from the shop serving the petrol station which I didn’t know at the time. There is a Greggs and Subway which is very handy for food etc. also the garage station is a Londis which sells items as well. The actual rooms are located behind the building of Greggs and Subway hidden away from the main public area and road. My room was clean and the bathroom was clean and functional. “UNIQUE!!!!!?? in room 7 to turn the light on over the mirror__rotate the bulb!!! I liked that. Double aspect room. Excellent. Everything was spotless. All fixtures and fittings in the room were top quality and imacculately installed. Excellent breakfast. To nit- pic, the toilet was set too high off the floor. One less robust pillow would have been nice. There seemed to be no lighting to the front of the building, maklng it difficult to locate in the dark. I would definitely stay again.”

“Lovely comfortable B&B with a very friendly owner. Our bedroom was perfect...comfortable bed, large clean seperate bathroom with a roll top bath overlooking the garden & countryside beyond. We had fresh milk for drinks, kept in a mini fridge & a wide variety of drink choices. We enjoyed chatting with Martin, one of the owners. Parking is on the roadside...plenty available. The town is easy enough to walk, but there is also plenty of parking available in Castle Cary, the interesting local town.”
