"Beautiful historic building in a beautiful setting on the south shore of Lake Superior. Walking trail along the shoreline runs right behind the hotel. Clean, quiet, and comfortable. What more can you ask?"

"Good communication and information provided by host prior to check-in. It is a very well cared for property in a beautiful, tranquil location. A doe and her two fawns visited every day. We made use of the games, kayaks, and fire pit. The only down side was we were traveling with a toddler under age 2 and the yard did not have a good play space. They needed to be contained to the deck areas. Something to consider if traveling with littles. There is an incline from the road to the cabin, and the cabin to the lake. Overall, this is a wonderful property and is perfect if you are looking for peace, serenity, and natural beauty. "
