Rooms are well done but lobby and other spaces look a bit tired. Checkin staff were great but the others seemed a bit grouchy.

Standard room beds are too small so needed an upgrade. Lovely staff. Restaurant a little chaotic and A la Carte was no different to buffet

Wonderful unique experience with excellent staff and attention to detail. Fabulous lantern lit dinner. Kid’s thoroughly enjoyed the afternoon safari. Comfortable air-conditioned rooms in the trees. I wish we could have stayed longer.

This was a stunning end to my stay in Sri Lanka. Staff couldn’t do enough for you and general manager was around and introduced himself during breakfast. Cocktails and food was great. Breakfast was excellent. So many choices and nothing too much trouble. I can see it may be an issue in high season, but in October there was enough sunloungers at the pool and beach for everyone. Water supplied in room and on the beach/pool areas. WiFi was fast and reliable. Hotel offered turn down service which was a nice touch. Tip try the King Colada! Clean rooms and available facilities. Changing facilities at end of stay were fantastic. Food was lovely and the availability and choice was really good. Sauté was our favourite of the speciality restaurants.
