Issues we had (and hence 3 stars) are: rooms are very dark, very dim lighting, showers had no hot water half the time and when there was hot water then pressure in shower was very weak, dribble. "What a beautiful property! There was always enough shade in and around the pools, and excellent bird watching within the hotel grounds. The location was excellent, with the beaches, national park, and town/restaurants within easy walking distance, but it was nice and peaceful at the hotel itself. Our room was nice and the shower was excellent. The only problem was the lack of soundproofing - we heard every word and footstep from the suite above. The staff were exceptional and very helpful with booking a driver to take us to Limon airport "

"This delightful eco lodge felt so laid back and relaxed, while also providing lovely amenities that we felt so taken care of. We stayed in one of their queen-bed bungalos which was open air (but screened in) and had a hot shower. Only having wifi at the lodge meant we fully unplugged while in our little jungle home, but we're still able to have access in the common area for trip planning which was helpful. We loved being able to walk across the street to Playa Chiquita, which has the loveliest little tree covered beach spots for reading and spending the day. The staff was so friendly and welcoming, and our room came with complimentary breakfast and fresh juice / smoothie which was so nice to have and always different every day. It was also very cool to be in the jungle... The pathways between the different areas of the property were lovely to walk on and we saw so much wildlife (including monkeys swinging in the trees overhead!). Having the yoga deck was also great because there were options for classes. We did a sound bowl with a local energy worker and intuitive which was a special experience. I would definitely recommend to friends! "
