"We had a good time at Zanoceanique. It's a complex of rooms/apartments in a multi-story building, very spacious and well-equipped (air conditioning, wifi, refrigerator, an excellent safe). The building and furnishings appear somewhat dated (some handles don't work, some doors don't close properly), but the essential things all work well. The sea is just a few steps from the entrance, and there's a well-maintained garden with a pool inside. The food at the restaurant is excellent and reasonably...

"Detta boendet kan vi varmt rekommendera! Underbart läge och mycket fin service. Stranden är jättefin och superfint att bada vid högvatten. Poolområdet med tre pooler och också väldigt fint, även där finns det sand. Hotellpersonalen är helt fantastisk och maten är kanon! Det finns inte mycket att göra runtomkring men möjlighet till utflykter är mycket bra. Vi har faktiskt ingenting att klaga på."

"The overall experience was great. The staff is friendly and responsive. I particularly liked the food served at Aqua, which is why I was disappointed at the food quality from Carnivorous. The food was served luke warm at best and the meats did not meet the standards one would expect from a reservations only establishment. Maybe you should take a cue from the food consumption and wastage on a night by night basis at Carnivorous."

"Friendly staff at front desk, but could use more smile and friendly manner at restaurant as well ^&^ When I asked for water, the server told me to get it myself without a smile. A friendly lady manager heard it and brought it for me..^&^ And, clean white beach photos fooled me thinking good to jump.. it wasn't at all cleaned up mixed seaweeds with trash, had to boat out away from beach to snorkel or swim, away from sea urchins and seaweeds..^&^ "

"The hotel is very rustic and feels like it fits within the ambience of Zanzibar. located right on the white sands next to the Indian Ocean with restaurants nearby, that are accessible by walking along the beach. The owners and staff were so welcoming and truly lovely people. The hotel is of a size where you get to know the staff and they know you. Highly recommend it....."
