Good hotel in a great location but don't go in the hot summer months as the aircon is not upto the job in hot weather. We asked for it to be fixed but still uncomfortably hot most of the time.

Hotel was lovely with impressive communal areas, including the entrance, staircase, great hall (for breakfast), spa area and skybar. The room was good and well appointed although I felt a little small for the price. Staff were lovely, and concierge helpful. Had a minor issue with the bedroom fridge flashing its inner light at night through the glass door, which they resolved by turning it off - in a heatwave! Not the ideal resolution but definitely better than a flashing light at night. Budapest was lovely although not as cheap as I had hoped - the gap to Western European cities has definitely closed in recent years!

The location is very convenient to everything, like metro and Tram stations, supermarket and restaurants. The room is very clean and washroom is roomy. The breakfast was excellent. We really enjoyed our stay in the EST grand Hotel Savoy.
