Please be warned !! this is NOT Legend Hotel Minot !! The sign out front is Sonesta Essential. Two women travelers in a downpour trying to figure that out! The front desk clerk couldn't clarify over the phone. When we finally went inside anyway, the excuse was that they were "under renovation"..... The front lobby had the coffee machine labeled as "out of order" as were all the ice machines except one on the 2nd floor. We were on the fourth floor at the end of the hall. The fire escape was boarded up, as they were on the other floors. There is today NO renovations in progress.

Very basic motel. Bare bones but you get what you pay for. Pictures are not what you get. Clean. Bed,ok for comfort. Had a strong smell of pot anywhere you went and never went away.

The renovations turned out great. Beds comfy, room was updated and clean, bathroom updated and clean. Decent hot breakfast. The front desk staff are also very friendly. Overall great stay.
