"Beautiful views and great communication from the owner on how to find it and access your hut. We stayed in The Hive for one night and it was a little dusty, everything needed a deep clean. It didn’t ruin our trip, and would visit again in the hope this was a one off error."

"Amazing four poster bed, linen, blankets etc. Great decor throughout. Lovely host. Loved seeing the horses, Shetland ponies and the donkey from our decking, and stroking them. Brilliant log burner."

"A perfect setting and accommodation for two. The Tap room onsite is a friendly restaurant with a very friendly atmosphere and staff. A short but yummy menu for breakfast and dinner. Privacy around the hut tub and decking area was good and there are plenty of walks around if you want to."

"Our trip to the Shepherds Hut was nothing short of idyllic! Our host Jay was so helpful and kind, even going so far as to give us a lift to Tunbridge Wells when our pre-booked taxi didn't show up. The outdoor kitchen was so easy to use, and made an al fresco breakfast very lovely. We took full advantage of the firepit - logs and kindling provided for us - as well as the lovely walks nearby. I would recommend to anyone looking to get away for a bit of peace and beauty!"

"As a group of 5 friends wanting a weekend get together this was a prefect blend of comfort/quirkiness and countryside living. The converted Horsebox is very homely and tasteful as well as comfortable. We also added the hosts new Italian army truck as secondary accommodation so that we had more space to spread ourselves out. "We stayed for 2 nights over a weekend. The hotel is ideally placed, gave great service and was comfortable. Our room had a lovely balcony, air conditioning and a super kingsized bed. You have to find your own parking but once parked with vouchers purchased from the hotel, we did not need our car until we were leaving. Would recommend and hope to return in the future. "

"I felt really comfortable staying here! Great before my flight the next morning. I thought being able to control the lights with your phone was SO COOL! Bed was comfy. I was tripped out by the toilet and the shower being in the same area, but I heard that’s common. Regardless, it was still super comfortable and convenient. Will be staying here again! "
