Everything was quite good except for the smoky cigarette smell when the heater/cooling system was on. Our room was clean and service was good.

Great place! Beautiful spot on the lake. Very nice dock with easy access in out & of the water. Host couldn't have been kinder. Helpful to myself & others while onsite. Would absolutely stay again.

We have stayed at Old Kinderhook a number of times over the last several years. The staff are so friendly, the property is well maintained and clean. My husband loves the golf course!! We do feel the rooms need a major remodel and update. In the past we had to ask for a hair dryer, but we did have one in our room this visit. Fortunately, we were only in our room a couple of hours in the evening as the TV was old and had a horrible picture. They could stand to invest in new ones. If you don't mind a marginal room, it's a nice place to stay! I did book through Expedia and got a rate. The night before we checked out my credit card was charged a higher amount. I called and asked about the discrepancy. They said the higher amount was what the charge should be. I fortunately had the email from Expedia with their charge. Stephanie, whom I spoke with and the manager said they would honor the Expedia charge even though it was not correct. I was grateful. They were very nice.

We loved this area! Property was very clean and was a great pick for family friendly activities. You can tell the owners try to make this a fun place for family.
