Step into a bygone era at this grand Elwood retreat. This captivating Queen Anne Federation house offers a unique blend of historical charm and modern comfort, with beautiful eclectic styling. This 6 bedroom, 2 bathroom heritage beauty is guaranteed to provide a memorable stay.  
  
Whether you're planning a family reunion, a friends' getaway, a romantic escape, or travelling for work this grand residence promises an unforgettable stay, unwind in spacious elegance. Comfortably sleeps 11 guests in 6 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms.   
  
Downstairs we have:   
  
Light-filled lounge with a smart TV for cozy movie nights. Casual and formal dining areas for flexible entertainment options.  
Well kitchen equipped with quality stainless steel appliances for culinary adventures that leads out to the lush established beautiful garden with BBQ and outdoor dining, all within a fully fenced back yard safe for kids and pets to safely explore the spacious grounds

Explore Vibrant Elwood known for its relaxed beachside vibe, Heritage streetscape brimming with character, Vibrant cafes and cool wine bars.   
  
Elwood Beach just a 5 minute drive, a popular spot for swimming, sunbathing, surfing, and stand-up paddleboarding.   
  
There are also several cafes and restaurants along the foreshore, perfect for grabbing a bite to eat or a drink.  
  
Explore the shops and cafes in Elwood Village a delightful shopping strip with a mix of independent boutiques, cafes, and restaurants. You'll find everything from homewares and fashion to organic groceries and specialty coffee shops.   
  
The Elwood Canal along Ormodn Esplanade is a scenic spot for a walk or bike ride. You can also follow the path along the foreshore to Port Melbourne or St Kilda.   
  
Elwood is easily accessible by public transport. You can take the tram from the city center or the train from Flinders Street Station.   
  
We welcome guests to book that are going to use the property respectfully. We have a very strict no party policy at the house, which means no loud music day or night and at 11pm we ask you to move inside with no noise to the neighbours. We love our neighbours and want to look after them.   
  
Well behaved pet allowed with prior arrangement. This will need to be confirmed prior to booking please.  
  
Your booking is for the whole house. Shortly before your arrival date you will be provided with details on how to access the property. Linen, bath towels and starter amenities are provided for your convenience.  
  
Sorry no bucks and absolutely no schoolies bookings of any kind, not even quiet ones.  
Hens parties by application only. Please message through your plans and we will come back to you promptly.

#### Stunning Period House

Enchanting capacious old house that easily accommodated a large extended family group of 4 separate adults and two primary school age children. In very cold weather, the heating was excellent/cosy. For such a large number of bedrooms (6), this house is short of bathrooms, having only one main bathroom (no bath), and one small ensuite bathroom attached to one of the bedrooms that had a king size bed. Good kitchen, great backyard for children to kick a soccer ball around. Fabulous and interesting art work throughout the house. Great location for walking around Elwood and St Kilda, particularly close access to the beach and St Kilda Botanic Gardens. Also easy access to city trams on Brighton Road. Local supermarket just a short walk away. Would definitely book this dear old property again, and would be great in any weather/season.

#### Eclectic Elwood!

Stayed in a grand old family home in eclectic Elwood for a mix of family get together and the Australian Open tennis tournament. The house was a beautiful period piece and close to the bars and restaurants in St Kilda, and an easy train ride to the tennis. Worked out perfectly for us and we really enjoyed our stay.

#### Quiet Suburb , Spacious Home

Grand old home. Great for a large group. Nice to have a backyard to relax in. Close to trams and not far from St Kilda. Kitchen well equipped if you want to cook. Very quiet area. Relaxing place to stay.
