I read the reviews and was a little worried about the snakes that a past renter mentioned. We are very happy to report that we did not find any snakes at this location inside or out. Our grandchildren enjoyed the stay which included being outside and catching a lot of fish. The only issue we had were that the beds were not very firm. Our grandchildren asked when we were going to come back. We do plan on visiting in the future. Thank you for letting us stay at your cabin.

Great place!
We truly enjoyed this place, it was very peaceful! Will be going back in the future.
The cabin is in a perfect location, close to town and a short walk from the falls! There is everything you need in a home away from home. We were really surprised by the layout and space!
Overall, we had a really great time at Haven by the Falls. The icemaker was a nice touch, and we enjoyed reading the vintage fishing books in the living room. The location right in the county park was super fun. For the price, I wish they would have disclosed that there was no air-conditioning. It was a very hot weekend in July. The beds and bedding were also pretty uncomfortable. Again, for the price I would’ve expected something a little better.
We are not very experienced with staying in other’s homes, but really am starting to love it! I wish we could have enjoyed it more! We were up for a 2 day funeral event, and the timing of events limited us. I loved that our kids could spread out. My only regret was I never looked at the other bathroom until we were leaving! Our kids got that one, the master bath while my husband and I got the other! My husband and I haven’t slept in a double bed for over 20 years, that really took a second to get used to!Thank you for lending us your home!!
It was a beautiful cabin in a lovely location. However, when we pulled up to the cabin, we were greeted by a huge grass snake--right next to the main entrance. When we got out of the car, we discovered several more on the side of the building. Luckily, my niece-in-law was brave enough to scare them away, briefly. To make matters worse, we found one on the kitchen floor near the fridge. My brave niece trapped it in a plastic jug and let it go down the road. We were on edge the entire time, inside and out. The snakes were always slithering around. We had to step carefully when outside. I need to mention, one member of our group has a snake phobia. It was not a relaxing stay for us. If you like snakes, book the cabin. Otherwise, stay away! I appreciate the opportunity to tell about our experience. Under the circumstances, I believe a refund is appropriate.
