Great place

I have stay in this place multiple times never disappoint , the personal is very friendly and helpful and I love the freedom of coming and going without having to walk by the front desk . The neighborhood is great for day walks.

Had a great stay at Colmena, had no issues, my bedroom was on the ground floor facing the rear and it was very quiet, I wasn't disturbed during the night at all. Rooms were cleaned to a high standard, comfortable bed and decent shower with hot water. Communal areas were nice although I didn't use them much. Overall had a very comfortable stay and would come back. Thank you!

The property is well located, lots of restaurants and cafes near by. Staff was nice, kitchen was good to cook your own meals al though a lot of times several other people will be cooking at the same time. Wifi was great for me to work from there. Not the best on the patio but in the rooms it was great. We got the room on the top floor so it was really quiet. Overall a good experience, much better than the other Colmena property I stayed at for a week (owned by the same management) but we checked out because it was right next to the highway. The cons: the bathroom sink was almost breaking, it could use a little reno. Its advertised as co-living space, lots of people working remotely. Make the business center less claustrophobic and more areas to log in... or at least have chairs inside the bedroom comfortable enough to sit for long periods of time. Mention the rules on the property, for example no access to the patio after 10 pm. Thats a little early to close it off especially for weekends. Providing, the patio was away from all other rooms so it would not disturb anyone. Not saying, one should be allowed to be loud and have music blasting in the middle of the night. but since the rooms dont have balconies, people staying long-term need an outdoor space to spend time.

The price is OK. It is close to Condesa and Metro station. The beds are not so comfortable and the pillows could have been better. bathroom's door does not close. There is no mosquito net in the window and the room is too hot.

Not good for solo travelers

These suites provided everything for staying long term such as kitchen, washer and dryer, tv lounge, coffee, fridge. Unfortunately, the families staying there took pver the place as if it were their own house. Sprawling over the couches, tv on all day and evening, kitchen utensils piled high or the dishwasher full all the time. So clearly not a place for individuals, but great for families who want to make noise, cook for ten people and stay home all day. Otherwise, clean and efficient, helpful staff. Bedding only changed every 3 days. They say don't put the tag on the door if you want bedding changed, but then they don't do it anyway for three days, so pointless.

Location is fantastic, staff is friendly and helpful, rooms are clean, kitchen offers everything you need to cook and dozens of restaurants nearby give every reason not to. The only reason I took 1 star of is MOSQUITOES. Without a net on windows you have to seal the room for the night, which does not rhyme well with the human need to breathe. Still, if I survived for 2 weeks, it is definitely possible.

La limpieza no es muy buena, las toallas que nos dieron siempre estaban muy sucias, las sabanas estaban quemadas y rotas. Las habitaciones son muy pequeñas pero se escucha TODO el ruido de la casa, timbran a todas horas y fue súper difícil dormir. Nos ofrecieron un cambio de habitación al piso de arriba así que no se si en el piso de arriba el ruido era igual que en el primer piso. La locación es muy buena.

À notre arrivée la fenêtre de la chambre n’avait pas de poignée on ne pouvait donc pas la fermer. Pour une chambre au rez de chaussée dans une ville comme Mexico ça craint carrément. Nous avons utilisé le numéro WhatsApp pour signaler le problème et demander à changer de chambre il a fallu deux jours pour avoir une réponse. Ne pouvant pas attendre (nous voulions pouvoir quitter notre chambre et visiter la ville en laissant nos affaires en sécurité) nous avons demandé le le demain au personnel d’entretien. Il nous ont dit que ce n’était pas possible de changer de chambre mais que ça ne craignait rien. Comme nous avons insisté il on finit par proposer de réparer la poignée! Mais heureusement! C’est le minimum ! La réparation a eu lieu seulement le lendemain. La chambre étais plus petite que les photos le laisse penser. Tout semblait usé. Le robinet était cassé et le bouton de la chasse d’eau aussi. Pas de Clim. Pas de bureau d’accueil. Trop cher pour ce que c’est. réponse.

Excelente ubicación

Excelente ubicación. Me he quedado en este hotel en 2 ocasiones. La primera todo bien en mi habitación, sin embargo esta última ocasión me tocó una que tenía fallas en la puerta de modo que no cerraba a menos que tuviera la llave puesta. No tenía lámpara de buró lo cual hace falta porque si apagaba la luz no veía nada. Sólo tenia en 1 contacto.
