One of the closest hotels to Katadhin

We stayed there one night. What is surprising and quirky about this hotel is the outside facade and layout of the lobby which is an open concept with a reception, indoor pool, hot tube, billiard room and arcade. It is one of the closest hotel room to Katahdin Mountain, so if you have a reservation for a parking spot for 7 am, you almost have to either stay at a camping or in Millinocket. The beds were comfortable. The decor needs updating. We appreciated that they had CBC cable channel to watch the Olympics. The breakfast was very limited. There is a waffle iron, cereal, toast, muffin but no protein. Yogurt and boiled eggs would have been nice.
