This hotel is LGBQT friendly. So much that it mad our family uncomfortable. Flags flying outside, tickers at the entrance, printed media posted in cases or displayed on the wall. One bar was mostly LGBQT couples. My family walked in the bar and left. If you are conservative and uncomfortable with in your face LGQBT, this is not necessarily the place to stay.
Major issue with our room-door would not automatically close and latch behind us. We would have to make a conscious effort to remember to check and make sure it was closed and locked every time. My husband even ran back upstairs one time to do so. That time it was latched and locked. We returned to find the door left open we assume by housekeeping. We let the front desk know. Their response was we had probably not closed the door behind us. My husband assured them he had securely closed the door and doubled checked it because we knew the door didn’t close well. No apologies from the hotel. Here’s hoping it was repaired for the next occupants.
