"The hotel staff were not very helpful. It would be better if they could provide useful information, such as nearby restaurants, when guests check in at the counter—especially since the hotel does not have its own dining facilities. Many guests are visiting for the first time, so this kind of guidance would really improve their experience. Many parking lots near hotel. 👍"

The staff helped us store our baggage before check in and figure out how to get the baggage to the train station. We were provided a variety of complimentary gifts, and a map of the surrounding area. The room was spacious and clean, and the private baths were a wonderful experience. I’d definitely recommend this hotel to others traveling in this area."

Upon calling the hotel, the front desk gentleman drove his motorbike to quickly return it to me at the station. "This is a beautiful property located just outside of the town of Yufuin. The service was great and the food was wonderful. We enjoyed soaking in the outdoor spa while viewing the scenery around us. The hotel shuttle from the train station was not very convenient with only one small bus per hour and reservations required in advance. We opted to take a taxi which was under US$10 and very easy. We stayed two nights and spent much of the middle day walking around the town. Highly recommend."

"We were staying in annex Japanese Western room with river view, room is very spacious and comfortable. We were enjoying the buffet meals (breakfast and dinner) with lots of varieties of foods and drinks (included alcohol at dinner time only), also enjoying lounge with free drinks after dinner. Staff are very helpful and friendly, we would definitely stay at the same hotel again."
