The modern marina had better food than anywhere we have been, live staged outdoor opera and many shops-if you like designer things. The ferry is 3 minutes an away which saves a lot of driving from the Croatian border if coming from Dubrovnik, the breakfasts are local cuisine influenced. Also the bigger issue is that we were not notified prior to arrival that all the hotel restaurant facilities were completely shut down due to some large private group booking. Not even room service was available to get a hamburger or any type of food at all. We arrived quite late at like 9:30pm after a very long day of 5 hrs of driving and specifically had selected the hotel due to a highly rated restaurant/spa/gym.
